Hong Kong le da la bienvenida

It gives us immense pleasure to invite you to the 13th World Harp Congress (“WHC”), to be held in Hong Kong in 2017. This exciting event will take place for the first time in Asia, making Hong Kong a unique destination city for harp makers and harp enthusiasts.

‘A Harp Journey from West to East’ is the theme for the 2017 Congress. The strong support from harpists, musicians from Asia and China, and masters from all over the world will definitely make this event a truly multi-national sensation. Hong Kong, ‘The Pearl of the Orient’, welcomes you to experience our hospitality and an unforgettable travel pleasure.

Complementing the regular Congress Concert highlights, Masterclasses, International Award Winners’ Recitals, and Youth Programmes, our programme includes Asian Highlights, featuring performers from China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand, playing traditional music of their countries and regions in both classical and contemporary styles.

The event will also present world’s major harp makers; the manufacturers will bring their pedal and lever harps to the Congress and participants will be able to try out and admire the workmanship and blissful sound of these instruments. It will be a wonderful opportunity for the manufacturers to showcase their brands and merchandise to an international group of harp enthusiasts and delegates at a single location.

Your presence and participation will make this grand professional and cultural event, the 13th World Harp Congress, successful and unforgettable. We earnestly look forward to welcoming you in Hong Kong.

Thank You
